Going, Going, GONE!

Over the last few weeks several of my videos on Naughty Machinima stopped working. I do have them all on my laptop. Even though it is not a "Super Computer" I was able to save them all unlike people with Super computers. I uploaded one of them.. and really didn't have the desire to upload the rest.

Not now at least...

Not after seeing a Pel Beaton video has been featured on Naughty Machinima. Even if you knew nothing about Pel beaton and is low quality video spamming ways... all you have to do is watch this video and you can clearly see it doesn't hold up to most of the other featured videos. In the day of age where everything is HD, this picture is grainy and sub-standard. The video is nothing you wouldn't have come across is his first 241 videos.

I personally think it's a insult to those videos that truly deserved to stand out by being featured, because those videos had some type of story.. plot.. effort was put into them. They weren't shot, edited, and uploaded in a few hours.

Also what kind of message is this sending? The site is struggling with space issues and you reward the person with twice more videos then the next highest person.. 10 times more videos than the average person and feature their shitty video?

It's clear the standards of that site have clearly gone in the toilet.

In the end.. it was never about ratings, views, comments for me. It was about what I could do or accomplish as a film maker. Basically I made the videos to challenge myself.. and shared them with others. That time of sharing is over.. I have effectively removed all my videos from naughty machinima.

I mean come on.. Pel Beaton has a featured video and Pixie Rain, who is one of the most creative machinima artists who uploads to NM,  don't. that goes to show you what a joke this is.

Mesh clothing report

Mesh hoodie and mesh jeans. First off, I LOVE hoodies in the fall... nothing is more comfortable then a big snugly hoodie. When I put the mesh hoodie by itself with the shorts I was wearing the bottom portion above my butt wasn't showing. When I added the jeans with the additional hidden layer it fixed the hoodie bottom part. If you look at the bottom of the jeans, the texture is not 100% rezzed. I like the hoodie I might go back and get it.. jeans I don't see as a major improvement over my other jeans.

With these mesh clothing you couldn't adjust them or move them and you got a few different sizes.

2nd skin dress - If this was shorter I might of bought it. This is 2011 not 1911. I wasn't crazy about the stripes look. It fit well and all my body parts were covered.

 

Sack dress - I love how it was all one piece. Cute dress... one again you cant adjust the dress. 

As you can see the side of my boob had a Janet Jackson moment.

Tank Dress  - Not sure what the problem was here. In the store the sack dress gave me problems with the dress not rezzing in the boob area. Now as you can see this dress my boobs were coming through the dress front. 

These were all demos.. you might have to adjust your shape to fit the clothing. I just hope designers continue to offer demos with their mess clothing in the future. 

I wasn't in a big hurry to buy since you need a mesh viewer to see the mesh clothing and if most of the people dont have one... what's the rush?

My future is so bright...

The girl on the right is what i started from. It's a picture of a sticker. I added T & A, enlarged the picture, removed the bra among on things.. Overall it turned out pretty good. I kind of regretted keeping the glasses towards the end and I think the cleavage could of better a little better, but overall I learned a few things.

First off this is the most recent picture of my work that I have done. The great thing about this picture is I was basically trying new stuff out. At one point the picture was pretty screwed up. After a little more work it turned out pretty damn good if I say so myself. The photo above is a 3D scene I built in After effects which I'm starting to love more and more.

A shout out to those near and dear to my heart. Those chat group moderators who like to throw their weight around and threaten to kick those who are not their friends...when in all actuality they are more of a problem then the person they are threatening to boot. Yea, it's ok for them to step out of line... of course.

If sure you have run into there kind before... seriously, it's clear what their problem is. They work at McDonalds, Taco Bell or Tim Horton's and take shit from customers and their managers all day so they get on second life with a little power granted by their friend and think they are something.

Seriously, if you think you accomplished something in your second life by throwing hollow threats at some pimple popping immature kid who is trying to jerk your chain... you deserve the Employee of the month parking spot.

I thank you... because without your over the top Gestapo tactics... second life would, well... just be the same.
