Mesh clothing report

Mesh hoodie and mesh jeans. First off, I LOVE hoodies in the fall... nothing is more comfortable then a big snugly hoodie. When I put the mesh hoodie by itself with the shorts I was wearing the bottom portion above my butt wasn't showing. When I added the jeans with the additional hidden layer it fixed the hoodie bottom part. If you look at the bottom of the jeans, the texture is not 100% rezzed. I like the hoodie I might go back and get it.. jeans I don't see as a major improvement over my other jeans.

With these mesh clothing you couldn't adjust them or move them and you got a few different sizes.

2nd skin dress - If this was shorter I might of bought it. This is 2011 not 1911. I wasn't crazy about the stripes look. It fit well and all my body parts were covered.

 

Sack dress - I love how it was all one piece. Cute dress... one again you cant adjust the dress. 

As you can see the side of my boob had a Janet Jackson moment.

Tank Dress  - Not sure what the problem was here. In the store the sack dress gave me problems with the dress not rezzing in the boob area. Now as you can see this dress my boobs were coming through the dress front. 

These were all demos.. you might have to adjust your shape to fit the clothing. I just hope designers continue to offer demos with their mess clothing in the future. 

I wasn't in a big hurry to buy since you need a mesh viewer to see the mesh clothing and if most of the people dont have one... what's the rush?

Back on the ranch!

I didn't really spend a ton of time on this.. but it came along pretty good. I found the hairstyle with the hat yesterday on another shopping spree.. so I thought I would give the cowgirl look another try.

It is what it is

A few nights ago I had a discussion with Scooby Mode and to which I regret. In fact to go back even further I regret ever trying to call a truce with this person or taking them off mute. I wont make that mistake again as they will remain on mute from here on out.

I have come to terms there are a few people I can't stand and will never like for various reasons.

To make a long story short, Mr. Mode claimed (somehow) using an alt detector I was this person and that person. Which is kind of funny, because he also trying to say my IP address is hidden. So if my IP address is hidden, how can you tell I'm all these people? It's because you are talking out your ass. So he started to call me a Troll because I questioned the truth in his statement because his story seemed to change. One minute my IP address was hidden, then next he said i was all these other accounts. In a way it was sort of funny thing all coming from someone who has a ton of fake accounts on Naughty Machinima.

It's funny to think people don't have alts. It's so easy to create a new account... do I? I guess you could say I do. I have one account I started my first day of second life where I removed my foot by accident. Since I was new I didn't know how to fix it so I started a new account.. which in turn became Rayven Baily and really the only account I use.

Mr. Mode likes to whine about a lot of things, but on this day he was crying about me being an avatar which has been in a few of my movies, Brady Neiro. In fact, He mentioned something I 100% over looked (bravo to him. blind squirrel eventually finds a nut) which was Brady Neiro and I share the same REZ day.

So I thought about this.. and here is the truth.

I pretty much found out about SL watching the movie Hot Tub Time machine. After seeing it in that movie I read about it a little and decided to try it. I talked a friend of mine into trying it too. Their account was Brady Neiro.

Well, I enjoyed the exploring and shopping aspect right from the start.. my friend just wanted to have sex. Once he had sex a few times he sort of lost interest and went back to playing Xbox.

So I got into making movies and didn't have a whole lot of extra time and had one scene to shoot which was the sex scene in Sinderella. I asked my friend since they weren't using the avatar actively if I could use it. At the time I wasn't even sure if I could pull it off. 

I showed my friend and he liked the outcome. I don't have as much time as others to shoot or to work my schedule in with theirs at times, but still want to make movies. So I started to use the avatar or Brady Neiro a few times here and there.

With a agreement between the two of us which was:

1) I would only use the avatar for filming. I would not speak, act, or contact anyone through it.

On his part he wouldn't get in touch with anyone in of the SLPorn community.  

He logs in every once in a while, but it's basically to try to go to a club and get laid. He didn't mind me using his avatar because he likes to show off the movies.


Basically the avatar served as nothing more than a  movie prop just like a bed, a stripper pole or a couch.

At no time did I ever try to mislead anyone into thinking he was anything more than that. I have never made a film promoting him as a huge star in the film. I never not once promoted a film just on his name. Really, all he got was his name in the credits and a face in the movie.

If I had my choice I would prefer to work with others. Filming and controlling two avatars at the same time is boring and can be more difficult. Working with Prince JD in making School Daze was easier than making Happy Hour, but as I said I don't have the time sometimes. So if I have a movie idea, why should that hold me back from making a movie?


Then again I feel Im not the only person who has done it. I look at La Cagna Ricca. Ace Oberts?
Has one role in SL Porn and lands such a juicy role for a first and only movie. Ace Oberts has no information at all in his profile.

I'm not saying it was wrong to do that...  just saying seem like I'm not the only one.


All I will say is this.. how does it feel knowing I have two viewers open at the same time, yet my movies didn't suffer from low FPS and the slide show effect as your movies do?

Hair comes the Princess!

I hit about 6-7 new hair stores today and came away with these 6 new styles. There were a few more I was tempted to buy, but decided I don't need them at this time. 

What I look for in hair. 

1. I like Hair with a little flexi in them sort of Hybrids. 
2. I like streaked hair. Just allows you more looks and combos. 
3. I try to stay away from hair that will mostly be in my boob or in my shoulder. 
4. Hair that's good for shooting movies (Sex hair)

I have a movie trailer on Naughy Machinima for a movie I'm working on called School Daze. Shooting is about 95% done on the film and I'm about to start editing. I have one more scene to shoot and will need a handful or extras to do it. (women as school girls)

I bought a bike!

 

I'm going to be playing a role in a upcoming movie which has me as a tough streetwise girl... so I was looking on Marketplace and came across this bike for only 299L. After having some fun riding around. I stopped and took some pictures.

I was setting up a new set for my next movie and I got a little side tracked and took this picture.  I'm not sure if it was because I had no bra on... but I did get a "A".

New Movie - Happy Hour

 

Originally the plot of this movie was a little different. I was going to involve more people.. make a love story about the DJ and bartender. The bartender (myself) was going to have sex with a customer to get back at the DJs flirting ways.  Problem is I couldn't shoot it like I wanted. The club has lasers and a smoke effect and would of been too laggy.. so I came up with this other plot which worked out pretty good I think. 

The visual on this movie could of been better. When I set up the club I was playing around with the visual setting in my Phoenix viewer and forgot to change them back prior to shooting the scenes.

Overall it worked out well. It sort of was a tough edit because originally I didn't have enough good footage for the length of the song. I ended up shooting more footage and by the time I was done had too much.

Opps, I did it again!

 

Today I came across something which is a perfectly good example of why I had so much trouble coexisting in the Pornstars group.  I come from the school of you get what you deserve. You put the time and effort into something.. it shows and you will be rewarded. I'm not really the type of person who wants a free pass.. I want to earn my stripes. 

After about a month in the Pornstars group  I noticed there was a whole lot of people who thought differently. It wasn't about what they have done, but how they wanted you to see them... instead of allowing you to form a opinion based on their work. If you didn't agree with it... then you were wrong!!

Today I got wind there is a photo contest going on and it's just another great reason why I don't do contests in second life. One of the contestants is publicly pleading for votes. Looking at all the pictures as a whole... their photo in question does not stack up with most of the others. It has less work put into it then most of the others, but it is 2nd place in the contest.

I really feel sorry for those people who put hard work into their photos and earned their way in this final round only to have their photos over looked by who created the photo and not the photo itself.

I don't know how anyone could honestly want to win a contest knowing your photo is not the best, but you begged for the popular vote. I wouldn't..  Why don't you let your work speak for you? ... because you have no chance then. 

It's stuff like this that will turn people away from sharing their great photos and getting into future contests. It also takes away from the spirit itself of the contest. It's a shame...really, it is. 

New Movie - Seducing Santa

Around Christmas I didn't have time to make movies but this sort of was a idea I had at the time. I'm using Adobe Premiere now which I LOVE and Adobe After Effects which I have just cracked it's potential.

The movie turned out great...looks amazing. I'm very happy the way it looks. Seeing this movie gets me really excited for a few others I have down the line, but I want to get my feet wet first. Best part about it? I was able to meet my Jan 29th release date.

Just make way for the Princess! After another successful shopping spree last night I have just passed Paris Hilton as possessing the most shit possible by one person. Wow, I found a  new hair store which was was top notch... best part? I was the only person in the store. Bad part about owning all this stuff?  I have no idea what the hell I have. I'm in need of some type of system. So I'm going to create a flickr account to log some of this stuff and to start I will  do my hairstyles. Oh yea, and Paris.. give me back my tiara, bitch!

OK I added all 46 hair styles (I got rid of like 10 of them This does not include hair styles of the same color) I have on my Flickr account at the bottom of the page.

Bad Romance

As of 1/5/2011 - I have officially left the group "The Pornstars" for good.  I see no point what so ever staying in this group any longer. I have been "under punishment" since Dec 8th 2010 and still am currently for actions which took part outside the group.I cannot send notices out.. so what's the point. It's time to move on..

I will go on... making movies. I have 15 or so solid ideas already, five of which I think are really good so it should be a good year for me. I am exploring hosting a personal website which has the ability to host my own videos and not having to rely on other web sites 

This was a long time coming, but recent events just made it that much easier of a decision. I have a group already (Porn Princess Productions) to which I have never really used but  will use that and personal IMs for casting movies.

Earlier in the week I watched the movie Scarface.. and well, came across a gem of a scene in the movie. I whipped up a simple little video and it just happened to end up in my video. I don't think I could myself speak more true words.

There are some people who build up this perception of themselves to compensate for the lack of a real life. They are these SL Gods.. well in their minds They like to point fingers and point out what others are doing, but are totally blind to their own actions and are denial. A few are so perfect.. they don't make mistakes.. or at least they won't admit to them .

Then there are people like me (whom seem to be rare in sl) who don't really care for getting on their knees, puckering up and kissing the ass of every single person who could in some way benefit them.Some of us can stand on our own two feets... walk the walk and talk the talk.

 In short when you fuck with Rayven Baily... you are fucking with the best!

Worst rapper ever?

 

I just finished watching the documentary, "I'm still here" about Joaquin Phoenix's retirement from acting and going into making rap records. Last week I said I heard the worst rapper since Shaq... well, I stand by that statement. Even though Joaquin Phoenix is horrible at least he has some type of concept to match a slow beat with slow lyrics.. while the other person in question has no rhythm at all. Maybe Mr. Phoenix can go into SL directing next and teach this person how to make a decent movie. You would think after 75+ tries they would have some type of idea by now.

Response from Muse of Naughty Machinima

As I stated in a previous post I contacted Muse who runs Naughty Machinima about the current state of the web site and this is his reply.

"The current system is not at all working the way I intended. Even when it is working correctly, it is still not the way I want it to work. Unfortunately there are a ton of other issues, like the videos being cut off, which is a bug from a recent update, that need to be resolved first. Furthermore, I have pressing issues with other websites that need attendance. I assure you I have every intention of making everything right but there is a sequence of events that keeps growing in order to make that happen. Thanks."

SL Porn takes a step back

I'm sure many of you have noticed a change at naughty machinima...do to bandwidth over usage... well, all I have to say is I told you so...weeks ago. This is what happens when you take advantage of a good "free" thing.

So what are you other options? Xtube? Great if the server they put your video on is actually allowing your movie to be embedded otherwise it's useless.

NaughtyBitch ? It's had it's own share of problems including finding a "home" and not jumping from server to server.

It's a shame... instead of taking steps forward and growing as a group... we take a big step backwards...

My search for knowledge

 

Today I went on a search of second life to learn. Search for knowledge!!! I was confused and I guess I didn't "get it" so I wanted to figure it out. 

Earlier today someone mentioned leaving constructive criticism. I guess the thing that confused me is who said it from what I knew..


I found out what constructive criticism means "promoting improvement or development"...but does everyone deserve it? Then i got this visual image of OJ Simpson looking for some constructive criticism after killing two people including his ex wife.. He walks up to Kato and he gives it to him by saying "Next time you have an argument maybe nobody should die" or "Your temper is improving. you didn't kill me."

I bet the guards tell Charles Manson every day he don't look like it but he actually is a very nice guy.

Yea right!!

So last night I was uploading my video "Flight club" and as soon as I went to the Naughty Machinima web page something stood out like a sore thumb. A new movie which was uploaded 3 hours earlier already had 110 views. So I started to upload my movie and opened another browser window and started to watch this 'popular"movie. It actually was pretty good... then my movie was done uploading and the next thing I know WOW! all of a sudden this movie was viewed 65 more times!!

I thought this was kind of strange considering it was between 10-11 Pm  SLT and not exactly "prime time". All these people watched this movie at the same time too.. wow.

Yea right!!

Then I looked back at other movies by this director. Wow... amazing this person's movies are averaging 1603 views!!! Who else can say that Emma? Maybe.. yet this person has like 70 less followers than Emma has on her blog, yet has the same "fan base" on Naughty machinima.

I compared this person's video from a few weeks ago which had over 1000 views to my video "Dommaidatrix" which is on the front page and is a featured film. What a surprise... their movie is averaging more views per day. 

Ironically, like OJ Simpson this has a sad ending... he was once a great football player... now he is only known as a criminal. This person actually makes good movies, but I guess they are not satisfied with making good art, but it's all about boosting views....which really gets you nothing.

You make any money from more views? You get any award? Is you face on any magazine? Did they name a region in second life after you? What did you gain from this???

Nothing, but you lost respect and gained a label which is my Princess word of the day!!!
